How to Stop Procrastinating

  1. Break Your Work into Little Steps

  • We find the work too overwhelming for us. Break it down into little parts, then focus on one part at a time. If you are still procrastinating then break down the task even more. Soon, the task will become simple which might make it worth it.
  1. For example, I have to complete the chapters in all the subjects for the revision, and the thing it looks difficult because it is nearly more than 70+ chapter in English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science so what I do to make it look it easy is I make a datasheet like stuff writing all the chapters and dates in front of them that makes it look easy for me then I break it down in different Topics and Write it down in My TO-DO LIST you can even read that Blog.
Change Your Environment

  • The different environment has a different impact on our productivity. Try not to study at the place where you sleep or the place which feels negative for example Try Sit at a table for continuous 3+ hours even when you are not studying for 21 days which will make it a habit for you to study on a Study Table else than to study on Bed which will make you feel motivated and productive I am not saying you cannot study on the bed you can do that too but you might feel comfortable and you might start procrastinating but when you are on a study table there might be a pang of guilt.

Hang Out with People Who Inspire You to Take Action

If you talk with some great personality for 10 minutes you will feel very inspired. The people we hang out with Influence our behavior and determine the path we are taking there is a very famous quote about this

He is 50 Billion Dollar Man

Dan Pena, also known as The 50 Billion Dollar Man, is an American-born entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the world's most successful high-performance business success coach.

Identify the people, friends, or colleagues who trigger you – most likely the go-getters and hard workers – and hang out with them more often. Soon you will inculcate their drive and spirit too
Stop Over-Complicating Things
  • Are you waiting for a perfect time to do this? That maybe now is not the best time because of X, Y, Z reasons? Ditch that thought because there’s never a perfect time. If you keep waiting for one, you are never going to accomplish anything.
